DCC chief burnt in effigy
KASARAGOD: Distressed over the drubbing the United Democratic Front (UDF) suffered in the election to Kanhangad municipality, a group of Congress supporters burnt District Congress Committee (DCC) president C K Sreedharan in effigy in the town on Saturday.
The UDF had been ruling the local body for over three decades.
