If Mani resigns, he will disclose evidence against CM: VS

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan has said that Chief Minister Oommen Chandy is scared of asking Finance Minister K M Mani to resign. At a press conference here on Tuesday he said in case Mani resigned, he would reveal evidence against Chandy in the bar bribery case.

“In Vigilance SP Sukeshan’s report, it was mentioned that bar owners had met Mani according to the directions of the chief minister. Mani and Chandy are blackmailing each other. Mani has informed the chief minister that he would not resign. The chief minister has the right to demand Mani’s resignation but he will not be ready for that”, said VS, adding that the Left parties would be in the forefront in leading agitations for Man’s resignation, if he doesn’t resign.
