THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Congress was all set to join the LDF, revealed party steering committee member Victor T Thomas. Talking to a private channel, he said discussions were held many times with leaders of the LDF. Meantime, Kerala Congress (M) general secretary Antony Raju denied it.
Discussions were also held under the leadership of former chief whip P C George. However, party chairman K M Mani directed not to put the government in a crisis. Meantime, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy did not show the dignity showed by the Kerala Congress, he said.
The party will publicize the report of the probe conducted by them on the conspiracy hatched against Mani in the bar bribery case at an appropriate time. Mani, who resigned his ministerial post will come back with a bang, he said.
