THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: RSP State Secretary A A Aziz has said party has no immediate plans to leave the UDF and join LDF. His comments gain significance in the wake of RSP leaders including Kovoor Kunjumon coming out to harshly criticise the UDF.
“RSP is not a fox that jumps seeing grapes and it had to leave LDF as the CPM had taken an untrustworthy stand. It is discourteous to change Front when its fails in an election,” he said.
On the other hand, Aziz has denounced Congress over Devaswom board appointments. “Congress took unilateral decisions in the appointments, without joint discussions in the UDF. The RSP was totally ignored and we hope this will be corrected,” said Aziz, who added RSP was not a low-grade party.
Meanwhile, Aziz totally rejected certain comments and suggestions made by leaders in the party in favour of the LDF.
