NEW DELHI: AICC spokesperson P C Chacko has come out with public statements in support of Kerala Congress (M) chairman K M Mani. “Mani’s remark that in the bar bribery case he and Minister Babu got two kinds of justice should be taken seriously. Mani’s statement is relevant and the chief minister should call an urgent meeting to address his concerns,” he told a private TV channel on Saturday.
Chacko said the Congress high command is anxious over current developments in Kerala. A minister going out of a ministry headed by the Congress after turning a victim of graft allegation doesn’t sound right. Now, another Congress minster in the ministry is also facing similar allegation,” he said, adding that failing to consider Mani’s opinion would adversely affect the UDF.
