Speaker firm on disqualifying George

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Speaker N Shakthan is firm on his stand disqualifying P C George as MLA. The thing I did is cent per cent correct, he said.

Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan had stated that disqualifying George, who has tendered his resignation, was not correct.

Those criticizing the step taken as per assembly rules is not aware of the rules, said Shakthan.
