THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan has said that he sticks to his statement that there are 31 cases against Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. As these cases are before the court, the details of it will be informed to them and will make sure Oommen Chandy lands in jail, he posted in his Facebook page.
FIR should be registered on complaints by the police and the vigilance. However, both Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala and the vigilance director are delaying it. The people of the state knows that both police and the vigilance have pawned their backbone before the chief minister.
Petty cases are not filed in the Lok Ayuktha. They have recorded 47 cases regarding corruption in their website. This information was obtained through the RTI. But, when it was exposed, a person from the chief minister’s office came down heavily on the Lok Ayuktha.
That retired judge, who got a job via the chief minister claimed that there is no case against him. However, it is my duty to explain the truth if the chief minister misleads the public, he said.
