10-year-old hospitalised after eating Shawarma

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Food safety officials ordered the closure of Sindoor Palace located in the capital city following hospitalisation of a 10-year-old boy after eating shawarma.

The three-member family had shawarma from the hotel Thursday evening. As soon as they reached home, they started vomiting. The family after going to the hospital lodged a complaint to the food safety department.
