Monday, August 29, 2011: Ace athlete Preeja Sreedharan was presented the Arjuna award today by President Prathiba Patil. The award carries a cash prize of Indian Rupee 500,000, a bronze statuette of Arjuna and a scroll. Besides Preeja, 18 other sports personalities were also presented the Arjuna award.
