Tuesday, October 25, 2011: The Thrissur Fast Track Court will on
October 31st declare its verdict on a case relating to the death of a
23-year-old woman (Soumya) who was brutally raped after being pushed out
of a moving train died at a private hospital in Thrissur on February 1.
Govinda Swami, the accused, had denied the charge against him. The
Court would also pronounce its verdict on the plea against Dr Unmesh, an
associate professor of the Department of Forensic Medicine, Thrissur
Medical College, in connection with controversy over autopsy report of
Soumya.
