Wednesday, July 27, 2011: State Transport Minister VS Sivakumar today informed that a final decision on hiking the minimum bus charge will be taken on August 5. The decision was taken at the meeting held between VS Sivakumar and the bus operators, here on Wednesday.The next cabinet meet would take the final decision and the decision would come into effect within August 5. The bus owners also demanded to hike the concession charge to student travelers. Minister said a decision on the same would be taken after having a discussion with the representatives of student organizations on Friday.
