First Milk ATM in Nilamboor

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The ATM (Any Time  Milk) that dispenses milk anytime round the clock will come up in the State for the first in Nilamboor.

Dairy Development department has given the green signal for the project report submitted by Nilamboor corporation in this regard.

Corporation Chairman Aryadan Shaukath has said that space will be provided at the Corporation bus stand for installing the machine. The project cost is between 10 to 15 lakh.

The milk will be dispensed in accordance with the cash deposited in the ATM. The customer will have to bring a container to receive the milk from the machine.

Pasteurized and chilled milk will be made available through the ATM . If the exact amount for a packet is deposited, the customer will get a packet from the machine.

Dairy cooperative societies are ready to sell the milk for stocking it inside the ATM machine.

The plan is to make the ATM functional by December.
