Former 'Mr India' Rex Varghese commits suicide

THRISSUR: Former 'Mr India' Rex Varghese allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his house in Thrissur on Tuesday, police said.

Body of the 34-year-old was found hanging at his house at Koratty near here Tuesday morning, they said.

Rex, a bachelor, won the 'Mr India' title in 2007 and worked in Railways for a short period. Presently he was unemployed.

Investigations are on to ascertain the reason of suicide.
