Thursday, September 29, 2011: State government said it
would introduce new guidelines for appointment of teachers in government-aided
private schools.
After a cabinet meet, which approved a comprehensive
”Teacher’s package” to end the system of ”protected teachers” in the state,
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said all new postings in aided schools should have
prior sanction and recognition of the government.
