Saturday, December 31, 2011: The heavy rains and winds that lashed the district on Saturday early morning left in its wake, snapped power lines and flooded roads.Roads were waterlogged in many places including the Thampanoor, SS Kovil road. Model school junction forcing vehicles to take diversions through narrow by-lanes.
