VARKALA: A 19-year old girl Liji who was knocked down deliberately by an unknown motorcyclist on June 15 died at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital on Monday. Liji, daughter of Jayan-Bina couple of Varkala, who was returning home after work was waylaid by the motorcyclist for raping her. Liji protested this and an irate motorcyclist knocked her down with his motorbike.
