Saturday, August 27, 2011: A new medical college, for which fund mobilisation will be done on the Cochin International Airport model, will be established at Haripad here, Health Minister Adoor Prakash has said. Inaugurating Medi-Fest, a two-day medical camp organized for the 11 panchayats in the Haripad Assembly constituency on Saturday, Prakash said that 50 acres of the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) would be acquired for the purpose.
