Wednesday, November 02, 2011: The ninth witness today turned hostile in the sensational Kiliroor case in which a girl named Shari, was sexually exploited by many after offering her roles in television serials.
The witness identified as Ramani, neighbour of Shari has backtracked from her statement given to the CBI team investigating the case. Ramani had earlier given statements that she had seen several strangers including Latha Nair going to the Shari’s house.
But, she retracted her statements before the CBI court here saying that she had not seen them and was never interrogated by the probe team.
