Doc, Principal's son suspended for ragging

KANNUR: A doctor and a principal's son were suspended from Ayurveda Medical College at Parassinikadavu in connection with ragging and attempt to misbehave with a first-year BAMS girl student. The ragging and misbehaving incident occurred in a bus while the girl and seniors were going to Kannur from their college as part of a National Service Scheme (NSS) Project Health Survey. College authorities suspended House Surgeon Dr K Prabeesh Lal and second year BAMS student Aswin B Basu. Dr Prabeesh Lal allegedly misbehaved with the girl while traveling in bus. Following this, the girl's parents gave a complaint to the college authorities and the police.
