Wednesday, August 3, 2011: The private bus operators association have decided to go on a indefinite strike from August 6 onwards. Not satisfied with the government decision to fix the minimum fare at Rs 6 and also in not increasing the fare concession for students, the bus owners association have decided to strike work.
The private bus operators co-ordination commitee members said that the increase in minimum charge would benefit only KSRTC and demanded the minimum fare to be fixed ar Rs 6.
