Wednesday, August 31, 2011: The bail plea of lottery king Santiago Martin, who controls a vast lottery empire across the country, has been adjourned to September 5 by a local court here. His bail plea, which came up before the Chief Judicial Magistrate court here yesterday was adjourned to that date after the government pleader opposed it. Martin was brought here from Vellore jail where he is now lodged along with his relative Benjamin and both were taken back there later, police said.
