NEW DELHI: Actress Shalu Menon, arrested in a financial fraud case, will be removed from the central censor board. She is being shifted as she is involved in a criminal case. The state censor board has sent a letter to the central censor board informing them that she is an accused in a criminal case.
The Information and Broadcasting Ministry will take a decision after examining the letter. It was earlier alleged that many top officials have intervened in getting her a membership of the board.
