September 24, 2011: Two more person died of rat fever (Leptospirosis) in the State. The dead have been identified as Sarojini (65), hailing from Kommeri and Ganeshan, a native of Kanhangad. The Central team will visit various hospitals in Kozhikode to study about the spreading fever.
