Monday, July 25, 2011: Army today began the two-day celebrations of the 12th anniversary of 1999 Kargil war victory with a host of events at the Pangode Military Station here.A two-minute silence was observed by the participants to pay tribute to the officers and soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the battle. Pangode station Commander, Pradeep Narayanan paid floral tributes at the war memorial.
