Yet another 'shawarma death'

KOCHI: One more person dies due to food poisoning from shawarma.


Prof. Varghese, native of Kottayam, had eaten shawarma from the closed-down Salwa Cafe at Vazhuthacaud, Thiruvananthapuram and was under treatment in Cochin.


The health department has started investigation.


Varghese’s son, who had also eaten shawarma, is under treatment in Cochin.
