THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The disc handed over to the vigilance by hotelier Biju Ramesh has been exposed. Biju is heard disclosing at the bar owners meet that the LDF had assured to open the 418 bars closed by the UDF if they assume power. Not only that, Biju is heard saying that vigilance SP Sukesan is against the government. On the basis of the sound track, a crime branch probe was ordered against Sukesan for hatching a conspiracy along with Biju.
CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan asked to topple the government. However, when asked if opposition leader V S Achuthanandan disagrees, Biju replied if VS too agrees, then will do it, the disc said.
Vigilance SP Sukesan is against the government, Biju said. Another bar owner is heard asking is Sukesan really against the government, or whether it was stated to please Biju. Biju is heard replying for the question that Sukesan is against the government. It was Sukesan who directed to say the names of four ministers to the media. The media is calling me and I am in a condition to keep mum.

Bribe offered to Ministers Chennithala, Sivakumar, says Biju Ramesh
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a major blow to the government just a few months ahead of the assembly elections, bar hotel association working president Biju Ramesh has come forward with yet another allegation.
In an interview to a private channel, he alleged that an amount of Rs 2 crore was offered to Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala. The money was given to him while Chennithala was serving as the KPCC chief. Rs 25 lakh was given to Minister V S Sivakumar before the Neyyattinkara bypolls. Meantime, there is no receipt or proofs to prove it, he said.
The money was taken to the office of the KPCC president. The money was not given for any favour done but was given so that no problems occur later, he said.
Meantime, Minister V S Sivakumar denied the allegation. Neither me nor my colleagues have accepted the money, he said.

Vellappally staging yatra to escape from case, says Biju Ramesh
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Vellappally Natesan, accused in many vigilance and corruption cases, is staging the Samathwa Munnetta Yatra in order to escape from all that, said Sree Narayana Dharma Vedi general secretary Biju Ramesh. Talking to the media, he said it is a scam jatha.
Biju said, “Vellappally knows very well that he will not be able to stand when probe in the murder of Swami Saswathikananda begins. He is staging the yatra and forming a political party in order to escape from all that. As an individual, Vellappaly can form a political party and join some other party also. However, he should not do all that by leading the SN Trust and the SNDP.”

DGP is Vellapally devotee, says Biju Ramesh
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sree Naryana Dharmavedi General Secretary Biju Ramesh has made a harsh criticism against DGP T P Senkumar. “The DGP is Vellapally bhakta (devotee),” he said
At a press conference here he alleged: “When Swami Saswathikananda’s sister made a request to give the charge of the investigation to DGP Jacob Thomas, DGP Sen Kumar talked to her in harsh tones, dismissing the request.”
Biju welcomed the order for further probe into Swami’s case but expressed doubts whether it was an attempt to divert attention from the bar bribery case. However, he said the case should be transferred to a special investigation team.

Former DySP Shaji jailed in the Praveen murder case had sent a letter to me mentioning the death as a murder. If examined the prison records, one will understand that it is true. However, in reply to a question, he said that he doesn’t have that letter now. I received that letter a long time ago and after showing that to my father, I don’t remember where I kept it. I am in search of that letter, he said.
If decided to conduct a further probe, then all the details including the letter will be handed over. I have not revealed all the things which I know but will reveal it before the investigating official. Three persons have called me so far asking me not to expose the proof. Whoever has committed the murder, a big force is behind it. The missing of Preethananda Swamy, who knows about the murder, is suspicious, he said.

Minister Babu threatened me for lodging complaint, says Biju Ramesh
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister K Babu threatened me for lodging a complaint in the bar scam case, said Biju Ramesh. Talking to the media, he said that the minister is trying to destroy him.
Biju said the minister had directed excise officials to register a case against me. The excise are continuously conducting raids at my bars. Thought a raid was conducted by two teams the other day, nothing was obtained. I am scared that they will hide a bottle in my bar and take a fake case against me. So, I’ve directed my employees to be with them.
They are trying to take action against my engineering college on a fake complaint. They are accusing me for encroaching puramboke land. I’ve not encroached anybody’s land. When I approached the court after a notice was issued by revenue department for demolishing a building, they withdrew the notice later. I will not change my stand even under pressure and will not withdraw from the legal fight. Minister Babu is taking revenge but Mani sir has so far not misbehaved.
There was a bid to sabotage the bar case from the beginning. Investigating official S P Sukesan was under severe pressure from intelligence ADGP, he said.
