THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Cross voting had taken place in Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha constituency, said NDA candidate Kummanam Rajashekaran. These cross voting took place in such a manner that the exit polls results are not even able to track it.
The exit poll result upholds the win expectation of the BJP in the capital city. However, the consolidation of votes and cross voting cannot be known in exit polls. The CPM may have cross voted and that is why the chief minister who mentioned my defeat did not utter a word on who will win, he said.
Kummanam said there is an atmosphere for me to win. I was defeated in Vattiyoorkavu by cross voting in the assembly polls held in 2016. In Kerala, a successful win is expected in Thiruvananthapuram, he said.

Kerala still like an ox yoked to crusher, says Kummanam
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP State President Kummanam Rajasekharan has said even when celebrating its 60th birth anniversary Kerala is like an ox yoked to a crusher. On his Facebook post he says that the government has failed to lead people beyond the intellectual achievements attained by Sanyasins and social reformers for them.
“The rulers became hopeless sons by lavishing the values contributed by neo-liberal leaders. The much-touted Land Reformation only became beneficial to organised religions sections. People who thought on secular lines were pushed to a side and kept away. The rulers vied with among one another to flood organised vote bank minorities with benefits and concessions.”
“The rulers who have farsightedness for more than five years are a bane for the State. What is needed is a change from this. Kerala has also come to realise lack of innovation from new rulers who had come to power with lots of promises. Kerala’s future will be doomed if there is no substantial change in the administrative leadership,” the post says

Rein in CPM attackers for peace to prevail in Kannur, says Kummanam
THIRUUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP State president Kummanam Rajasekharan has said the chief minister using the Assembly venue to deride the RSS in the Kannur attack and trying to whitewash the CPM is regrettable.
“In Kannur, CPM attacks not only RSS but also CPI, Congress and Muslim League workers. Since the present government came to power, Kannur has witnessed more than 250 incidents of violence. In these cases, 80 percent accused were CPM men,” he alleged.
He said in the chief minister’s hometown alone, CPM attacked 31 houses. 60 houses, 70 institutions and 75 vehicles were attacked. In Kannur alone, 3 BJP workers were killed and around 40 were critically injured,” he explained.
He added if the chief minister would control the CPM violence, law and order will be restored in Kannur without any all-party meeting.0

CPM not ready to give up political violence, says Kummanam
KOLLAM: BJP State president Kummanam Rajasekharan said on Tuesday that the killing of BJP worker Sujith in Kannur shows that the CPM is not ready to give up political violence.
Kummanam was speaking to media persons after attending the funeral of solider Sudheesh at his Kollam Mandroth house.
“The CPM has degraded themselves to harbour the wrong feeling that they can only exist on violence. The party virtually declared that violence was its style of functioning as and when it rejected BJP’s invitation for peace talks against the backdrop of Kannur violence. The CPM will get isolated from people if it tries to protect Jayarajan in Manoj murder case. The CPM should be ready to surrender their arms and ensure peace in society,” he said.

Will accept those returning to party, says Kummanam
KOCHI: BJP state president Kummanam Rajashekharan Monday said the party will happily receive all those who have left the party and all inactive leaders if they wish to return to the party. The state leadership will discuss the return of many including P P Mukundan.
Talking to reporters as part of his Vimochana Yatra, he said the door is opened to those who want to return back to the party. Mukundan has not contacted the leadership so far. I want everyone to return back to the party. If activists of other parties express their wish, then that also will be discussed, but they will have to accept the policies of the party. The foundation of the party would be expanded after receiving everyone, he said. There is a big response for the yatra, he said.
The government has to take a decision on the demand of K K Rema and RMP seeking a CBI probe on the conspiracy behind the murder of T P Chandrasekharan. Other ways would be considered if the decision is delayed.
The state leadership is not aware of the meeting between Kerala Congress leader K M Mani and BJP national chief Amit Shah. There is nothing in both the leaders meeting. The CPM is showing double standard in the solar corruption, he alleged.

CPM has no sincerity, says Kummanam
PALAKKAD: Putting forward conditions to end the violence in Kannur shows the insincerity of the CPM, said BJP state chief Kummanam Rajashekaran. That’s why CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said they are ready to hold discussions if the knives are put down.
