Mani’s PRO resigns over article issue

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Finance Minister K M Mani’s PRO, who wrote an article harshly criticizing Chief Whip P C George, has resigned from office. When contacted, he said that he is resigning as the article published in a magazine has created personal problems for Mani.

P M Binu Kumar’s article named Television New Roses has criticized George for his unsavoury remarks towards the Suryanelli victim, statements against orphans and for the derogatory remarks against the opposition.
Meantime, George has threatened to quit the vice chairman post of the party if action is not taken against him.
