Wednesday, June 08, 2011: The Thiruvananthapuram Chief Judicial Magistrate Court has today rejected the plea filed against former Chief Minister, VS Achuthanandan in connection with the Kalluvathukkal case.The plea was filed seeking a probe into the allegation that Achuthanandan had tried to influence the Justice Mohan Kumar Commission which had probed the sensational Kalluvathukkal hooch tragedy case. The allegation was raised against VS by former CPM district secretary P Sasi.
