Tuesday, July 19, 2011: A seat-fee pact on a 50:50 seat-sharing basis with Rs. 35,000 as annual tuition fee for half the government seats and Rs.60, 000 for the other half was finalized between Government and Kerala Self-Financing Engineering College Managements’ Association here on Monday.The formal agreement is expected to be signed on July 21.
Managements were allowed to charge up to Rs. 99,000 as fee for the management seats along with a refundable deposit of Rs. 1.5 lakh. The fee in the NRI quota was Rs. 1.5 lakh. A special fee of Rs 25, 000 will be levied on both of these categories of seats.
