Wednesday, July 20, 2011: A probe has been ordered against the Karakonam CSI Medical college in connection with the alleged irregularities in admissions to the MBBS course by accepting hefty donations. The inquiry would be conducted by the Justice P.A. Muhammad committee based on the recent media reports. The committee has also appointed a nodal officer to investigate the matter.
The controversy surrounding self- financing medical colleges had taken a new turn with reports of the Karakonam Medical College Management accepting donations of upto 50 lakhs from students who have not even made it into the rank list.

But i think that all the 11 colleges have done this. Why not look into the other colleges too?
