Nurses’ stir continues at Painkulam, Kolenchery
Wednesday, February 15, 2012: The nurses’ strike at Kolencherry MCH and Painkulam Sacred Heart hospital continued on Wednesday. The nurses have decided to continue the strike following the failure of talks held with hospital managements.
A rise in the minimum wage, removal of bonded labour, introduction of working in shifts and to reinstate the dismissed nurses are some of the demands raised by the striking nurses.
