NEDUMANGAD: A youth riding bike died after his vehicle rammed a culvert wall here. The deceased was Abhijith, 24, the son of Natarajan-Jalaja couple from Kulaviyodu Mekkum Kara house.
Abhijith was a wiring technician. Jithin lal (18), who was riding pillion, has been admitted to Medical college hospital with severe injuries. The culvert wall which turned the death trap for the youth is located in Puthanpalam turn.
The deceased along with friends were travelling in three bikes from Nedumangadu to Annattu on the New Year eve. Jithin is a plus one student of Panavoor school. Anoop is Abijith’s brother.
