Over-speeding car kills two pedestrians

AATTINGAL: An over-speeding car on Wednesday swerved off the road and ran into a group of pedestrians, killing two on the spot. The other two severely injured persons have been admitted to Thiruvananthapuram medical college hospital.

The accident occurred at 7 am near Valiyakunnu Guest House. Preliminary report says the deceased were from Aruvikkara and had gone for work in Avanavamchery. More information is awaited. The car reportedly sped past them after hitting the victims. The body of the deceased are kept at Chirayinkeezhu hospital.
