ALAPPUZHA: SNDP yogam general secretary Vellapally Natesan said on Wednesday that Finance Minister K M Mani had shown political discipline by resigning as minister in the wake of high court verdict on bribery case. If he had done this a little earlier, the act would have had more sheen.
Vellapally said this at a press conference he held at his Kanichukulangara house.
“Mani’s stand in the coming days would be decisive during the next Assembly election. A split in the Kerala Congress can be expected. At the time of crisis, minister P J Joseph didn’t stand by Mani and this was like a stab on latter’s back. Joseph has once again proved than he is not trustworthy,” Vellapally added.
