KOCHI: A complaint was lodged on Thursday at Thevara Station on the missing of circle inspector Nawaz of central station. He has been missing since 5.30 am on Thursday. He was found missing following a dispute that broke out between him and his senior officer on the previous day.
He had returned his official SIM card and wireless set at the central station last night itself. He reached his quarters in Thevara at 4 am in the police jeep.
He went out after 5.30 am and was found missing after that. A native of Kuthiyathodu, he stays with his family. A case has been registered by Thevara police.
IG Vijay Sakhare who took charge as Kochi city police commissioner Thursday morning said a serious probe would be conducted to find him. FIR has been registered on the basis of the complaint of his wife.
