Infopark CEO appointment: Verdict on plea against VS reserved

Tuesday, May 22, 2012: The Thrissur Vigilance Court today posted to June 4th the further hearing of the plea against Opposition leader VS Achuthanandan in connection with the allegations over the appointment of Jijo Joseph as the CEO of the Info Park in Kochi.
Jijo Joseph is the relative of former MP Sebastian Paul. It is alleged that Achutanandan had committed breach of oath of office by making “unlawful interventions” in the appointment of Jijo Joseph as Infopark CEO because he was a close relative of Sebastin Paul, a former LDF-supported independent MP and media critic.
