One killed in lorry-car collision in Thrissur

Thursday, May 31, 2012: One person was killed in a lorry-car collision that occurred near Kunnamkulam in Thrissur district on Thursday.
The dead has been identified as Mohammad, a native of Koonammoochi. Another three persons were seriously injured in the accident, police said.
The ill-fated car was proceeding to Koonammoochi after the victims saw off their relatives at the Nedumbassery Airport, when the lorry coming from opposite direction rammed into it, the sources added.
