He helped hitmen identify TP

KOZHIKODE: Ravindran, 47, hailing from Orkattery, was among the CPM leaders who attacked the RMP activists who were taking out a march in connection with RMP’s Onchiyam area conference in March 2012. Ravindran emerged as a leader to reckon with after the ouster of Chandresekharan and several others from the CPM in 2009.
The SIT has arrested Ravindran on the charges of criminal conspiracy in connection with the murder.  According to police sources, Ravindran had been assigned the duty of helping the hitmen by identifying Chandrasekharan. For this, he had reportedly extended the invitation of his house-warming to Chandrasekharan at Orkattery on May 2 in front of two of the assailants.
