MSF wants CBI probe into Shukoor Murder Case

KOZHIKODE: The pro-Indian Union Muslim League Muslim Student Federation (MSF) in Kerala today demanded a CBI probe into the murder of its Taliparamba Mandalam Treasurer Ariyil Shukoor a few months ago.

Talking to newspersons here, MSF President P K Feroze said a Central agency probe would be necessary to bring the culprits to book as the police was not able to make any progress in the case so far. He said the MSF would stage dharnas in district headquarters on May 22 to press its demand. It also demanded arrest of criminal gangs such as '21 Brothers' of Koyilandi and 'LTTE' of Valayam in the district after blacklisting them. It also sought ban on cigarette and pan masala sale around 400 metre radius of educational institutions and implementation of Balaraman Committee Report on nurses' wage in the State. The MSF would intensify stir against managements which accepted capitation fee for admission to educational institutions in the State, he added.
