Neyyattinkara by-poll: I-T sets up control room

Saturday, May 12, 2012: The Income Tax office has opened a control room in Thiruvananthapuram to receive information and keep a close watch on poll expenditure by the candidates during the Neyyattinkara Assembly poll.
It has been reported that the control room will keep a close watch on distribution of undisclosed cash and other articles and ostentatious election expenditure. The Election Commission had ordered to remove all the flex boards and billboards from public places.
A toll-free number 1800-425-3070 will be accessible round-the-clock in the control room.
