TP murder: Kunhanandan went into hiding after being informed about raid
KOZHIKODE: P.K. Kunhanandan, the Panur area committee member of CPI (M), who is suspected to be the key person involved in the conspiracy which led to the murder of RMP leader T.P. Chandrasekharan, has gone into hiding after he was informed by someone in the investigation team about raid, sources say.
It was three days before that the investigation team came to know Kunhanandan’s involvement in the murder.
It is learnt that a prominent leader at CPI (M) Thalassery area committee will be taken into custody soon. It was this person who helped Sreejesh, one of the assailants who got injured while executing the murder, to get to Co-operative Hospital at Thalassery with the help of Abhy. Abhy along with Saneesh and Koorappan took Sreejesh to the hospital after the instruction of the leader. Sreejesh, also known as Annan, was given first aid by Abhy, who was arrested last day. Saneesh has been arrested but Koorappan went into hiding.
