TP quit party due to desire for power: CPI (M)
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPI (M) State Secretariat held the view that the murdered RMP leader T.P. Chandrasekharan quit CPI (M) due to desire for power.
The rebels of Onchiyam led by Chandrasekharan had left the CPI (M) in 2008 and floated the Revolutionary Marxist Party (RMP) following ideological differences with the CPI (M) leadership.
The general belief is that the CPI (M) leadership, which had always wanted to teach the RMP a lesson, had involvement in Chandrasekharan’s murder.
