Talking to newspersons here, he said 'I have not committed any offence. If I have committed any wrongdoing, they (Government) can take action.' Mohanlal arrived in this island town this morning for shooting of a Malayalam film 'Pranayam' in which he stars along with wellknown Bollywood actor Anupam Kher.
It may be recalled that the income tax department sleuths had, yesterday, raided the offices and residences of Mohanlal and his other super star colleague Mammootty in Chennai, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram and Bengaluru for alleged tax evasion.
Mohanlal, who was at Valinokkam coastal area in Ramanathapuram district yesterday was also questioned by anotuher team from income tax department from Madurai region last evening.
