Saturday, July 23, 2011: The Crime Branch team probing the sensational Paravur sex scandal case in which a minor girl was sexually exploited by many including her own father after promising her role in films, has issued look-out notice against one of the accused.
The notice has been issued against Abraham Sebastian, police told.
The sexual abuse of the 14-year-old girl came to light three months ago after her mother lodged a complaint before the police submitting that her husband had forcibly taken the daughter to prostitution. Based on the submissions made by the girl and the mother, the police registered a case and launched a probe.

Though the police were able to arrest a few persons, including the girl’s father and mother in connection with the case, the government handed over the investigation to Crime Branch after there were allegations that the police were trying to help a few high-profile persons belonging to film industry.
