THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The opposition LDF staged protests in the Kerala Assembly over the steep hike in LPG cylinders and in the solar fraud case.
The opposition members stood up and shouted slogans when Governor Nikhil Kumar began his customary address. The protests lasted only five minutes and after that they were in their seats.
The opposition came with placards and banners with slogans to withdraw the hike in cooking gas cylinders and to appoint a sitting judge to probe the solar case. The protests staged on the first day are expected to continue in the coming days.
