Attack on scribes in Karipur airport; 1 year RI for accused
Thursday, 05 January 2012: The Manjeri Chief Judicial Magistrate Court on Thursday ruled one year rigorous imprisonment for the accused in connection with the attack against mediapersons in Karipur by Muslim League activists. Two persons Shihab and Sudheerbabu were acquitted by the court.
The case relates to attack against mediapersons at the Karipur airport in 2004 when P K Kunhalikutty was accorded a reception on November 1, 2004 by Muslim League activists.
