Airmen recruitment rally evokes good response


Saturday, January 21, 2012: Airmen recruitment rally conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF) being held at Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium here has evoked huge response with as may as 10,000 candidates taking part on the first day.
The recruitment rally which began on Saturday morning for Group Y (non-tech) trades [auto tech and IAF(P)] will be held till January 24.
Candidates should be born between January 1, 1991 and March 31, 1995. They should have passed intermediate / plus-two / equivalent examinations in science, arts or commerce subjects with a minimum of 50 per cent marks.
Candidates who have passed a three-year diploma course in any stream of Engineering from a government-recognised polytechnic/ institute will be permitted to appear for Group Y.
Recruitment is on the basis of written, physical fitness, medical tests and interview. Candidates should bring sports kit for physical fitness test, HB pencil, eraser, sharpener, black/blue ball point pen and writing clipboard.
