Cop suspended for misbehaving with woman

KOZHIKODE: A police officer was suspended for allegedly misbehaving with the wife of a superior officer in Kozhikode. Sources said Vigilance Circle Inspector T P Sreejith was placed under suspension pending inquiry, for allegedly misbebaving with the wife of a Deputy Superintendent of Police, who was away on duty, at the hill shrine of Sabarimala last month.


According to a complaint, the accused, staying in the adjoining house of the officer in the police quarters in the city used to send frequent SMS to the woman. He visited her on the pretext of presenting a diary to her and misbehaved with her, the sources said.
