Crucial meeting between Chandy and Chennithala today

Wednesday, April 18, 2012: A crucial meeting between KPCC chief Ramesh Chennithala and Oommen Chandy will take place on Wednesday.
The decision to go in for a truce has come on the directives of Ahmed Patel, political secretary to Congress president Sonia Gandhi, and Defence Minister A.K. Antony to sort out the differences at the earliest.
The meeting is intended to sort out the misunderstanding that cropped up between them over the reshuffle of portfolios of the Ministers from the Congress, keeping in view the coming Neyyattinkara by-election.
